“Creating a dream kitchen with a modern and inviting design.”

The main challenge of this project was to make the circulation flow more seamlessly with the dining room and garden as well as enlarging the original kitchen. However the budget didn’t stretch as far to alter the dining area so the scheme was refined and honed back to make the design fit the budget and still achieve the clients aspirations. We achieved this by extending the kitchen wall in line with the utility wall and cat sliding the roof to match. This allowed space to knock through to the dining room to link the two spaces. A row of Velux roof lights articulated the circulation route and allowed ventilation and light back into the existing spaces. A set of bi-fold doors created direct access to the external patio and garden.
