Transformation of a listed building

The Manor House, a Grade II Listed building in Folkestone, underwent a substantial renovation, including the addition of an extra bedroom and the reconfiguration of the kitchen space. The existing kitchen on the north side was converted into a bedroom, complete with a new balcony, while the outdated conservatory was transformed into a spacious kitchen diner.

The contemporary character of the kitchen is defined by carefully selected interior finishes and a striking black and white colour scheme. This approach introduces a modern touch while creating a refined and cohesive atmosphere, complementing the panoramic views of the English Channel, The Leas, and the Manor House gardens enjoyed from the newly arranged space.
